GM Technical Center was designed by Eero Saarinen and opened in 1956
It was his first large architectural contract, and is still in use today. The colorful glazed bricks used throughout the project were made by a local company which GM bought out during the construction to secure their uniqueness.

Maid’s day off
This last photo was taken while I was sitting in a tree swing looking back at the house. While sitting here, feeling inspired a red tailed hawk flew down through the trees in front of the house, and landed in the tree from which the swing hung. Cool
