This was the first working prototype for my 2015 textile pendants, then titled Aquiloni
This was the first piece I received back from the ceramicist Peter Fink of Potsfink.
Peter helped to create the molds from the positive wooden forms I made and he slip cast all of the Pilotis Vases for our project with Apparament 50.

Isch Mir Ecal / Made in China
2nd Exhibition of sketches and photography by Master Product Design students, made during a study trip to China and Hong Kong in February 2014
The gallery exhibited sketches made by our master class on our trip to China, with photos taken during the trip by Philippe Fragniere and also some remnants taken from our factory tours.
In 2014 ECAL’s Master of Product Design class teamed up with Scott to develop a commuter bicycle.
Here are a few process photos for our group’s development.
Our team was comprised of Thomas Burns, Kasia Kempa, and Lucas Frank.
This project was led by Philippe Albert Lefebvre and assisted by Stephane Halmai-Voisard.
Here we are visiting Scott HQ, learning about bicycles.

Presenting to Scott Bicycles
In 2014, as a one day workshop led by Bethan Wood and Tomas Alonso, Roosa Ryhänen and I made this bench. Our brief was to create a seating for two which would encourage some type of interaction.

Following our workshop, on Nov 27th, 2013 Nathalie Du Pasquier gave a lecture at ECAL. She spoke about her pattern development, her time as part of the Memphis Group, and also about her paintings. She said she only paints up to a certain size, because that’s the biggest that will fit in her car. Very practical, very relate-able.
